WORKING WITH US

What is the Gastivists Collective?

The Gasivists started in 2017 with the mission to support grassroots resistance against gas and to connect impacted community members, activists, and NGOs fighting gas.

We have grown to having paid team members in the last years (now 12 people, always part-time).

We fight against gas, because we believe it is a strategic entry point to fight for climate justice. Our work is rooted in social and economic justice, the impacts climate change is having on people, and fighting the neocolonial agenda of extractivism.

What does working with us look like?

We are all based in different countries across Europe, so you will be often working independently and online. When possible, we like to travel to meet the rest of the team, visit impacted communities and join activists.

We are deeply committed to our work. We thrive to be anti-capitalist, anti-racist, rooted in feminism and care – and we often fail. We’re learning, and we’d love to have new people to figure this out with.

We are open to discuss reasonable adjustments to the work we are proposing in order  to adapt to specific needs (such as caring responsibilities, health conditions, studies, etc).

We don’t have any vacancies at the moment.
