On the global Gasdown-Frackdown day of action, thousands of people over 6 continents took part in almost 100 actions against gas and fracking. Check out the wrap video below for a taste of the growing global anti-gas movement.

We were awed by the diversity of tactics, targets and strategies used!

Gasdown-Frackdown showed us once again that we are unequally at risk of police repression when fighting for climate justice. In Bali, an anti-fracking rally was shut down by police and activists were held in the police station for several hours. In Tamil Nadu (India) 25 people raising awareness about the risks of gas were arrested for several hours and will have faced trial. We stand in solidarity with all those facing police oppression for their activism.
